Dobby is a four-year-old Galgo/Podenco who came from Spain as a very small puppy in May of 2021 and was adopted through SHUG. Dobby lost his birth mother as a pup and was the only survivor of his litter. He was placed with a Galgo momma and her puppies and they accepted him wholeheartedly as one of them. Dobby has lived in a home since he was just a few weeks old and is a very sweet, happy boy. Sadly, Dobby has lost his adoptive family due to health issues and is now looking for his new forever home.
Dobby is a very handsome dog who can be very silly and goofy. He loves everyone and assumes that everyone loves him. He has the best of intentions, but is still a puppy in many ways. He wants to play with everyone, of every species. We do believe that Dobby will do best in a home that has another playful canine companion who will welcome his exuberance.
Dobby's adoption fee is $350 and he is fostered in Maryland.
