Dear Friends:
I'm a wonderful young man and very handsome, if I do say so myself. My first time away from my siblings I was a little scared, but I controlled myself and had NO accidents in the hotel. It was a long trip to my New York foster home (eight hours in a van) and I did great. I watched some scenery go by, but spend most of the time curled up at the feet of my human foster brother. Every now and then I would try to curl up with my doggie foster brother (a big greyhound), but he wasn't too keen on it. I did know how to take no for an answer.
Once at my foster home, I was introduced to two more dogs: a female greyhound (also being fostered) and a hairy dog of some sort. We all get along fine, as long as we're not trying to steal each other’s food.
I have no problem climbing their stairs or jumping onto the furniture. However, I am learning which furniture I can jump on. Good thing I'm a quick learner! I'm also very proud of how quickly I learned the potty routine. I've only had one accident! I get crated during the day when my foster family goes to work, but I don't like it much. In the evenings and at night, I get to be free! I really like that! I also like to play outside. A forever home with other playful pups would be awesome.
All in all, I'm doing great and looking forward to getting a forever family of my own. I promise to stay sweet and loving...and a little mischievous. 🙂
Love, Snickers
P.S. You can put in an application for me here. What are you waiting for??
