April is a 1 year old galga currently still in Spain. This sweet, happy girl was dropped off at Paradise Rescue Kennels in terrible condition and we initially thought she had been hit by a car. She had multiple wounds and a possible broken leg. X-rays ruled out a break, but April's condition continued to worsen. Our excellent vet team quickly realized that April had been exposed to poison and she has been under their care for the last two months, receiving treatment. As of April 15th, her bloodwork has improved to the point that our vets have cleared her to undergo her spay surgery and she is scheduled to fly to the US in early May.
